Things to Think About

      Stamps for Invitations and RSVP's.

Check the expiration date on your marriage license today
if you already have it. If you haven't applied yet, call the local
government office for all detailed information, including expiration
      date.

Draft a map, from the ceremony to the reception, along with written
instructions for all out-of-town guests. Remember to include any
      notable landmarks and approximate miles.

Schedule the rehearsal and dinner for early in the evening to
avoid having a sleep-deprived bridal party with puffy eyes.

Provide a copy of any scripture or poetry well in advance to
friends and family that have been asked to give a reading.
Remember that a phonetic guide is helpful for any words that
may be hard to pronounce. Include a note that urges them to
      practice.

Some guests invariably will bring gifts to the wedding. Make
arrangements for several family members or friends to handle
transporting and storing of the presents with discretion.
